This NEW Sillosocks Blue Goose Flapping Flyer Decoy (SS1296) by Sillosock Decoys represent a new dimension in decoying waterfowl. The wing flapping movement attacts attention that can be seen for miles. The geese can hardly resist coming over and taking a look.
We used 3 dz. of the Sillosocks Flyers by Sillosocks Decoys this year in the rig with fabulous results. Not only can the flapping motion be seen for miles, they also finish birds. Our average shot was 25 yards. We used 3 around each hunter for concealment purposes and spread the rest of the flyers thoughout the rig. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, these flyers will do more for you than any other decoy out there. They are by far, the best money spent in the spread.

We tested these flapping, flying Pole Kite-type Flyer decoys extensivly this year with fabulous results! We were consistently "limiting out" almost every day we hunted. We had big flocks of 300-500 geese piling into the decoys like they were "on a string". They were convinced that these decoys were the "real deal". It was an amazing site to see them flipping and spilling air to see who could be the first to the spread. You will be able to see it on our new video. On Bluebird windless days, we put the flyers on our new "rotary" machines and had some tremendous results. The mallards and snow geese were absolutely keying on the movement.

In high winds, put the Sillosocks Flyers by Sillosocks Decoys low to the ground on 16" stakes. In low-medium winds, I like some on 10 foot cold rolled steel rods.
We use 2-3 of them on 3' rods around each hunter which really help to conceal blinds, people, dogs, etc.
These Sillosocks Blue Goose Flapping Flyer Decoy (SS1296) by Sillosock Decoys comes with a 3' ground rods. The new nosepiece design comes with a thumbscrew.
For use on a rotary machine, I like to move the nosepiece to the chest. This locks it down solid so it cannot pivot as it goes round and round.
These Flyers can also be used on our new "12' Telescopic" Flagging pole. This pole comes with a flagging bracket which allows the flyer to pivot(stay level) as you raise and lower the pole.
The same design is utilized on the Sillosocks SIDEWINDER machine, HAMMER machine, OR SON OF STALKER machine" by Sillosock Decoys. These machines simulates geese that are "hopping" over each other while feeding. We have had great success with 3-4 machines running at the upwind side of the spread. Mix in a more flyers on ground rods around the Son of Stalker or Sidewinder for a great look.
